Scanning Pens sponsor BDA Helpline for second year running

Award-winning assistive technology supplier, Scanning Pens have pledged their support of the British Dyslexia Association’s Helpline, BDA Helpline, for the second year running.

The British Dyslexia Association launched the BDA Helpline in 2018, and since, the free-to-use service has helped thousands of people affected by dyslexia seek impartial advice and information – whether they’re a parent, a student, an adult with dyslexia, a teacher or an employer.

Thanks to Scanning Pens’ support of the service, the BDA Helpline will now be able to provide even more informed, straightforward and helpful advice to thousands of people nationwide, across extended opening hours.

With students moving from the hustle and bustle of the playground to the home-schooling experience at the dining table, the BDA Helpline is set to support thousands of parents of dyslexic children who would like to access resources, advise and support strategies, completely free-of-charge.

The sponsorship of the BDA Helpline is an important part of Scanning Pens’ mission to raise awareness and promote positivity surrounding dyslexia in Britain – and beyond. Scanning Pens supply assistive technology tools, designed for students with dyslexia to schools, colleges and universities around the globe.

CEO and Co-Founder of Scanning Pens, Jack Churchill, said, “We are proud to be sponsoring the BDA Helpline for the second year. Since sponsoring the service last year, we have seen first-hand the invaluable support channel it is for the parents of dyslexic students and those experiencing troubles to do with dyslexia in the workplace. The Helpline is a safe, supportive service, and I encourage anyone with enquiries to get in touch with the friendly team.”

The British Dyslexia Association would like to say thank you to Scanning Pens for their kind support. It will make a massive difference to the people that need our help.
