We're Series Sponsors of #SENShowSeries

We are thrilled to announce that we are the Series Sponsor of Tes SEN’s upcoming webinar series, which is set to support the SEN community following the return to school for the ‘new normal’.

The TES SEN Show is the U.K’s leading special educational needs show that aims to return January 2021. However, like most organisations in education, TES SEN Show is well aware of the complications that COVID-19 is creating for the support of all students, including those with special educational needs.

In light of this, they’ve organised a two-day webinar series intended to cover vital topics that can aid educators as they settle into the ‘new normal’.

The webinar series will be presented by expert speakers, who will cover a whole host of topics, including DfE updates, assistive technology, and supporting loss and trauma.

We hope that our contribution will help educators in learning more about the way SEN education is changing.

CEO of Scanning Pens, Jack Churchill, said:

“When the webinar series begins, it will be a month on from educators returning to the ‘new normal’. The problem is, a lot of people are still unsure what that means. The ‘new normal’ leaves a lot of questions up in the air and we’re excited to do our part to help answer those questions. Even for those who are well-informed, there’s a lot to be learned from these webinars and we’re proud to be a part of them.”

Head of Education at Scanning Pens, Julia Clouter will be joined by Erica Smith, a SEN specialist teacher to present, “A discussion exploring approaches to supporting SEN children and the current challenges facing schools”. The webinar is set to explore the current SEN support challenges and investigate how these might be overcome. Register for this webinar here.
